FAQ – Information about the hotel

On request, we can equip your room with anti-allergy pillows and bedspreads.

The Bahnhof-Apotheke pharmacy is just around the corner, located at 2 Königsstrasse, opening hours Mon – Fri 8.30 a.m. -8.00 p.m., Sat 9.00 a.m. -8.00 p.m. You can find emergency pharmacies via www.lak-bw.de/notdienstportal/schnellsuche.html please ask at the reception.

In the immediate vicinity can be found many doctors with a range of specialisations.

We will be pleased to provide you with a baby cot in your room, if required.

Stuttgart Central Station is a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

24 hours a day, you can enjoy a latte macchiato, a cool Fürstenberg pilsner beer or perhaps even a fine malt whiskey at the hotel bar.

In the pedestrian zone just 150 metres away, most shops are usually open from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.. Königstraße is not only Stuttgart’s main shopping street, but at 1.2 km it’s also the longest and most visited street in Germany. There are shops of all kinds here. Around the market square and the town hall there are further shopping possibilities, including the famous Breuninger and the Market Hall. Breuninger offers luxury items in of all varieties, from household items to premium footwear. In the historic Market Hall, 33 traders offering fresh, delicious food are ready to pamper the palate.

Discover Stuttgart on 2 wheels. In Lautenschlagerstraße (approximately 100m from our hotel), you can rent Call a Bike bicycles from Deutsche Bahn (German Railways). You need to register for this. For more information, please visit the Deutsche Bahn website under Call a Bike.

With the S-Bahn (S2 Schorndorf or S3 towards Backnang) you can arrive from the airport directly at the central station in about 27 minutes. Our hotel is then only 30 metres away from the S-Bahn station, and our street (Kronenstraße) is signposted in the station.

The nearest salon is located in the neighbouring building – Panas Hairlounge. 400 metres from the hotel, you can treat yourself at the famous hairdresser Ramp.

From 6:30 to 11:00, we pamper you with our gourmet breakfast, featuring regional & seasonal specialties, fine teas, and coffee variations to perfectly energize you for the day.

We have a underground car-park. It coast € 12,00 per night and the car-key have to leave it at the reception (You can have your car-key back anytime). Please note that we wouldn’t take any reservation for our parking space because it is a collective garage. If you park with us, we charge €12.00 per day. The car key must be deposited with us at the reception. (You can access your car key at any time.)

If you do not find a space here, you can park your car in the nearby two public car parks ( Kaufhof-or Zeppelin Carré-garage). Thank you for your understanding. If you do not wish to deposit your car key with us, please use the public parking garages.

On request, we can help you with your baggage transport in the hotel.

Forgot your toothbrush?! We would be glad to help you by providing the following items: Toothbrushing set, shaving set, comb, sewing kit, shoe shine sponge, slippers, nail file, vanity set (cotton pads & cotton buds), feminine hygiene products, shoehorn, sleep mask and earplugs.

Wi-Fi is free, with a speed of 1 MB/s. If you want to use a faster connection, you will receive a code from the reception. It will be charged at €5.00 for 4 hours or €10.00 for 24 hours.

The Tourist Information Office offers free internet at the following points in the city: At 1a Königstaße I-Punkt information point, at Schlossplatz, at Schillerplatz and at Marktplatz.

The Stuttgart Tourist Information Point is right at the top of Königstraße (300m from the hotel). Opening hours: Mon – Fri 9.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m., Sat 9.00 p.m. – 6.00 p.m. & Sun 10.00 a.m.– 6.00 p.m.

Various pillows are available: Neck support, virgin sheep’s wool and anti-allergy pillows in various sizes, offering the best possible sleeping comfort.

We are happy to make copies of and scan your documents for a fee.

Battery empty?! We will gladly lend you a charger for your mobile phone. A deposit fee is required.

If your mattress is too soft for you, we can reinforce it with a firmer layer.

30m from our entrance, you will find parking spaces for Stadtmobil Stuttgart. If you want to rent a car, you need to identify yourself in advance with your ID card and driver’s license, and then you can rent your car. For more information, please visit the Stadtmobil Stuttgart website.

We are happy to perform small sewing jobs for you, such as sewing on buttons.

Public transport is waiting for you directly outside the hotel. 3-day tickets for the VVS Network are available at reception in 2 variants: for the entire VVS network or for just the city centre. With this ticket, you can use all S-Bahn, U-Bahn and buses services.

In our hotel lobby, a guest PC is available for free, including a printer.

From local cuisine to star gastronomy, everything is within walking distance. For your valuables, you can make use of our safes at no cost. They are located in your room and at the reception. We accept liability for valuables and cash up to €3000.

There is a shoe cleaning machine on each floor.

With the famous red hop-on hop-off buses, you can experience the whole city and its sights in a short time. If you wish, you can get off at any stops/sights you wish to visit, then get back on the next bus. During the trip, the guide will share with you background knowledge in various languages – including in the local Schwäbisch dialect of German.

Leave your laundry at the reception by 9.00 a.m. and in the evening, you will get it back freshly clean and ironed (Mon – Sat).

We would be pleased to provide you with information about our sightseeing attractions in Stuttgart and surrounding areas. Come to see us at reception or at an I-Punkt information point (located about 300m away).

On request, we will change your towels & linen daily.

On request, we will give you a wake-up call.

If you want to wash your own laundry, you can do so in the nearby launderette: SB-Waschsalon Trieb, 1b Königstraße, open daily 5.00 a.m. – midnight, closed on public holidays.

In selected double de luxe rooms, there are pull-out sofas which we can gladly turn into sofa beds.

Do you need more than one pillow? We are happy to equip your room with additional pillows or a further blanket.

You will find a range of bathing and wellness options at Stuttgart’s mineral baths, easy to reach by U-Bahn in only a few minutes from our hotel.
